Vision, Mission and Values

  • Everyone has a responsibility to promote a safe environment.

  • Staff members of our school share a collective responsibility to promote a positive school climate.

  • All members of the school community are to be treated with respect and dignity at all times.

  • Everyone has a responsibility to approach and resolve conflicts in a civil and respectful manner. Insults and disrespect for others disrupt learning and teaching within the school community. There is a zero-tolerance policy for physical violence. Everyone is expected to resolve conflicts without resorting to violence.

We want our students to feel safe and feel they are being cared for. We encourage them to succeed while demonstrating empathy, respect and integrity. School staff and the community provide the framework that fosters success for all.

Everyone has the right to learn, and students learn best when they have a sense of belonging and attachment to their school.. We encourage community involvement, volunteerism and a desire to be of service to others. We strive to create a safe and caring learning environment that fosters empathy and allows all community members to build lasting relationships. We believe that "we are how we treat each other".

At St-Patrick's Elementary School and ASJ Memorial High School, our vision and mission statement are more than words on a page.  They are a way of being.
