Accident Insurance: Note to parents
It is important to note that the Central Québec School Board does not take out an accident insurance policy on its students, whether they are children or adults.
The Central Québec School Board has a liability insurance policy that only covers accidents which involve personnel, property or business. As a result, the majority of accidents involving students are not covered by this policy.
It is very important that each family or student take out its own insurance policy if they want their children or themselves to be covered in case of an accident or illness.
At the beginning of each year, insurance companies provide the School Board with pamphlets in which their insurance policies are offered. These pamphlets are sent electronically to the parents and we encourage to you look through them.
