Admission and Enrollment
Registration of Preschool, Elementary and Secondary Students
Students Currently Attending One of Our English Schools
Parents of students currently attending an English school on our territory will have access to online registration with Mozaïk-Inscription between February 5th and 16th, 2024. Your child’s school will send you an email with the procedure to follow on February 5th.
If you don’t have access to Internet, you need to contact your school and follow the procedure that will be explained to you.
New Registrations
New registrations should be completed at the school where your child will be attending. An application for the Certificate of Eligibility will also be filled out at this location if your child does not have one*.
New Registrations to New Liverpool Elementary School
New registrations for South Shore residents whose child will be attending New Liverpool Elementary School, but whose child is not currently attending a CQSB school, will be completed in the school’s temporary building located at the following address: 995, rue Wolfe, Québec (Québec) G1V 3J9. Please call 418-652-2106 for a registration appointment. An application for the Certificate of Eligibility will also be filled out at this location if your child does not have one*.
Kindergarten
The Ministry of Education's Preschool Cycle Program intended for children who attend kindergarten for 4-year-olds and 5-year-olds is offered in the following schools. To be eligible, the child must be of age on September 30th of the school year in question.

Age of Admission
Admission in K4 (Kindergarten 4 years old): The child must be 4 years old before October 1st of the school year in question.
Admission in K5 (Kindergarten 5 years old): The child must be 5 years old before October 1st of the school year in question.
Admission in Grade 1: The child must be 6 years old before October 1st of the school year in question.
Cross-boundary/Transfer Request
Parents wishing to apply for a cross-boundary/transfer will need to complete the following form and return it by email to educationalservices@cqsb.qc.ca during the official registration period.
*Certificate of Eligibility
To register in an English school, a student must have a Certificate of Eligibility.
