Location

Valcartier Elementary School is located in St-Gabriel-de-Valcartier. It is accessible via Boul. Henri IV north.  Follow the directions to the Village Vacances Valcartier.
 

Mission/Vision

Students, parents, teachers and support staff, are ALL part of the Valcartier Elementary pedagogic TEAM. Our purpose is to provide top quality education, in a safe and caring environment, to prepare our students for the future.
 

Programs

Valcartier Elementary School focuses on stimulating learning partnerships between students, teachers, parents and our community. Valcartier Elementary students enjoy our small class from kindergarten to grade 6. We can, therefore, offer project-based learning opportunities with our partners.  In addition to teaching the Québec Education Program, Valcartier Elementary focuses on language skills in both English and French.  Valcartier Elementary offers French Immersion to its students. We promote positive self-esteem and the understanding that each person is responsible for himself/herself and his/her actions. Our school provides an educational environment that contains a wide variety of activities that stimulate independent thinking, reflection, and risk-taking.
